Project 200hp+ / 2.0L HDI(RHZ) Citroen Xantia

Postby dbwarrior » Wed Jul 08, 2015 7:37 am

Hi
My friend has decided to push his old HDI to new level.
Now it is total stock setup with re-mapped by me.

He already has big turbo(GT2260V from iveco) so EMP is not problem on this project.
Also big IC is possible to fit.
Exhaust pipe is easy to upgrade.
MAP sensor is on shopping list and also bigger MAF.
Also lift pump to fuel tank might be swapped.

Only real challenge for us is found upgrade parts for injection side.

What you guys suggest for upgrade for Rail pump and Nozzles upgrade ?

If we swap these DSLA144P1295(used in alfa 1.9L8V) tips to HDI injector body what kind of IQ:s can be expect(with RP=1500-1600) ?
Some people says that they can do 20% more than stock HDI nozzle, but we might need more ?

And is there available something bigger option than R70 model, maybe by fitting pump what is not so bolt on...

2.0 HDI / 8V (RHZ engine code)
I think that some people already has good experiences of those DSLA144P1295 nozzles.
But maybe there something else for get more fueling ?

Some update for this project.
Fitting GT2260V wasn't easy at all but now turbo is installed.
Now starts that next phase:
- new nozles
- find out all "100" limitters from ecu
- 1800bar RP sensor
- 3bar MAP
- MAF from 2.8L iveco

i suggest to remove MAF and drive on MAP,
also to use stronger elements in fuel pressure pump - i normally use mercedes elements for it and drive 1800bar without any problems.
if you are interested i have lots of parts that could help you do this project.

Nozles are ordered and company found what instal and calibrate them.
Are we ordering calibration to up 1600bar ?

Hybrid pump is also been in our mind.
From what mercedes engines has these elements what can be fit to cp1 pump ?

Leaving MAF out has been think also. MAF is good for "debuging" things out, or what you think ?

I have been starting to find those limitters of IQ100.
Had been read that there is quite many of them and all of them are not easy to find.

iq100 limitters for diffferent gear was easy to found, but that is not even close to all of them, right ?

Any hints for found rest of them ?

I had few good "candidates".
One is 5x1 map with temperature axle(-20 to 120)
Then there is few 2x1 map, but cant figured out what axle is. One of these are near driwer wish maps

All hints are welcome....

i had work alot and now i think that none of these 2x1 maps, 2x2, 2x4... are related to proble "IQ limitted 100"
So now are left only single values but there is so many of them.
It would be so great if some PRO give some help...
