Hi, for current moment i'm intrested only in EGR OFF & DPF OFF (SW 1037382052).

I would like ask someone to check if:
1. DPF ON/OFF switch address is correct.
2. EGR hysteresis map 2 & 5 addresses are correct .
3. Cold start map & hot start map addresses are correct

Hi all, finally found time to flash it.
Last question i want to ask. I read that MPPS or EDC16 itself can calculate checksum on flash.
Is it correct?
Attaching screenshot from MPPS that states checksum will be calculated.

I disabled EGR & fixed host start map. Calculated checksum.

Did you manage to flash this file back to car? I too am using MPPS v12 but with the BPW 2.0 TDI PD140 A4 Quattro but the tool will no write the file. I have calculated the checksum prior to using MPPS software to do it just so I can eliminate any potential mistakes.

MPPS got to about 50% done then went straight to completed, tried car no difference in performance. I then went to try again and it said calculating checksums then instantly said completed.

What is going on...

Yes i did. Everything works as expected.
Read firmware back and compare if it is the same as you wrote.
Make sure your car doesn't have any mechanical problems (like clogged intake, boost, pressure leaks, vnt problems).

Btw, from what i know, MPPS write only modified regions, so, progress bar isn't good indicator in this case.

Hi Airmax,

I have also a BGW engine and was wondering if you also deactived the DPF in this file? Do you see any problem with flashing your file to my car?

Hi,
Yes, it has DPF, EGR off, fixed hot start map. Works without problems.
I don't think its good idea. You need same SW to put it without modifications.
So, upload what you read here. I'll check.
