I flash original kess v2 copy(only maps) MPPS V18 boot mode(bench) original ECU, flash is now same HEX than backup successful (there is not eeprom at all, I wait new empty chips and reader/writer xprog 5.55) so car wont start..


Many times change volts 12.0-12.7, many times graund flash memory pin and power up ecu..and its finaly works.. take few hours..


Other ECU (where original eeprom is now solder) works same than now this, so i think i just need new eeprom. Original is lost when flash kess v2, i think so its lost for ever..


I try solder it back original ecu tomorrow, but i dont think it helps..



I found immo off 1 kt file, if i try this file write new eeprom and solder it original ecu, maybe works?

When you write flash to recover it must be always full write (not only maps), even if Kess or MPPS says maps only it should be write full, anyway select full always.

About your ori immo who knows until you can read it.

Before soldering eeprom try to read with programmer or bootmode from new ecu.

You could use other eeprom file (1kb) with immo off or virgin but there is other car info and could need Mercedes tool to config things, in worst case I'd use ori eeprom from other ecu + virgin with you original flash.

Can other eeprom(wrong milage, vin etc) virginise change memory address 1D0: 04 0f write 00 00

C4 is better than c6 if i do older cars?

Eeprom is broken, cant read anything, pin 2 does not response(data out). I have few new eeprom, just did write immo off flash and verify it.

Still try get some data out old eeprom, is it possible recover like heat or cold etc?

New eeprom solder, i did use xprog to file it(must desolder) adapt whit star… car run now!!
