Very helpfull things in this post :D i'm a begginer too and i'm just reading posts to learn some more every day. I don't even have WinOLS yet, neither cables.. just have my imagination and experience in programming microcontrollers for industry (yes, i'm a mechatronic technician  ) and remap is a bit similar to programming micricontrollers, the big diference is that it's mile away easier to program a robot with Proton that remmapp a EDC15 or 16 with WinOLS. So if you have a bit imagination that what the ECU command the engine and how it works, it's 10% of the way to start :)

What i know about remapp, basically torque limiter and some hard rev limiters, egr and dpf delete in some cars, it's all from here and searching on other sites and youtube  so i have some doubts that you all maybe could tell me the answers.

In WinOLS, how can i tune the maps by gear? Know some tuners that put the nitrous solenoid controlled by ECU eg. at 3500rpm shoot a 50% shot of nitrous until 4500 rom and when decrease the rpm it will stop... the only explenation that i see is connect the solenoid to the acceleraton pedal sensor, am i right?

Sorry if i question it here m8's
