Yes pp2000 is needed. eBay is not the cheapest source, other sites are cheaper.

i dont have access to pp2000 so might have to get on Ebay.

i opened up the binary in winOLS... makes no sense to me, how do you understand what part you would change and the value you change it to..?

Just erasing the codes will NOT get you out of limp mode. You must set the BSI to car witnh NO FAP filter to run it problem free. The only tool that can do this is PP2000.

Years of experience and a lot of testing helps a lot when you look at the binary. ;)

Ok... so ive finally got my PP2000 up and running.
plugged it in a cleared all the codes, except - Fuel Additive Control Unit. Perm Fault. Piesel Aditive Pump.

cant see how to switch the fap off within any of the settings...
did see a bit where it was asking how much of the additive you wanted it to inject... was set at 9, so i set it to 0.

car is currently out of limp mode now thank god.

so i thought id now attempt to connect the galletto up to take a new copy of the ECU details now the faults have almost all been cleared. the run it through ECUsafe and upload it back....

well.... my galletto is now not reading the ECU..???

it goes through the process of reading it, but returns with error.

can anyone help at all..?

Just wait 10 second. Do nothing. After 10 sec click OK. That all that you have to do.

Your galletto does not work. That happens when it dies...
