Dpf Removal....

Postby nipper76 » Fri Jan 18, 2013 7:57 pm

hiya.
ok, ive used VMware to load XP onto so i could grab the info from my ECU.

My (51) peugeot 307 Dturbo (110) has had the DPF filter removed. but is currently in Limp mode with relivent warning lights.

so i dont know if i needed to somehow clear the fault codes before this path was applied..?

SO.. im going to upload my files BEFORE and AFTER the aparent mod done by ECUsafe.

(when i can find somewhere to upload them to)

some if someone could maybe take a look and tell me if its ok..? and maybe even walk me through whats been changed as id like to learn it manualy.

many thanks

The DPF is removed in your bin. To get out of limp mode you must turn off DPF regulation in BSI and clear the error codes.

oh right.. so just clearing the fault codes right..??
does it have to be pp2000...?

should i have cleared the codes before i took a copy of the data from my ECU and removed the DPF...?

ALSO.... ive seen that people mention about boost spikes...? and adjusting the turbo veins..??
i take it you use a hex editor... but how..? what am i adjusting and to what..?

many thanks

Just have someone with a pp2000 edit the BSI configuration and remove the Fap from there too. And clear the fault codes of course. You can buy a clone pp2000 on the net for less than 60£ by the way.

oh... so clearing the codes with say, a Snap on universal scanner wouldnt solve the issue..?

i dont have access to pp2000 so might have to get on Ebay.

i opened up the binary in winOLS... makes no sense to me, how do you understand what part you would change and the value you change it to..?
