VW/Audi 1.8t 20v M3.8.2 vs M3.8.3

Postby hananes » Wed May 26, 2021 9:13 pm

Hey Guys,

long time since I've posted here.

Since then I have a project car. A3 with AGU and GT28RS turbo.

The engine is almost finished and fully built by specialist for DTM cars.

Next step will be the software. Right now it is running on a sh*tty map on a sh*tty and messed up ECU.

As you can see the PLCC44 storage is soldered very badly and the PCB is damaged below.

My question is: can I use a newer ECU (M3.8.3) with AM29F200 chip instead? There must be an ECU for the AGU engine code for sure with the newer chip. Does anyone know the part number?

If have found one online (06A906018R 0261204673) Does this one work too, of course after Immo off and new tuning.

Yes, the 29F200 ME3.8.3 are more suitable for. For pinout just hit google ... you're not the first.
GT28 or GT30 is also almost the maximum that can be halfway usable with the ME3.8.x.
Why not go straight to the ne ME7.5?
