Rate My tune EDC VW 1.9 TDI 110

Postby nitruz » Wed Jun 17, 2015 5:55 pm

Good. I am new to the forum and needed little of their knowledge.

I have a golf 3 tdi VW Passat with the ECU and the engine of the Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDI 110 engine code ASV ..

I made a file after following several tuturiais and passed to the ECU.

But it seems that I have a problem because the car sometimes can not lower the pressure ..

I will leave a log and a file ...

Can anyone see if the problem is the chip?

It may be geometry turbo half stuck ..

The problem as you can see in the picture begins to appear after 4000rpm when the turbo can not drop the pressure

I havent check your remap but there could be some reasons.
1) Boost creep, because too much fuel for that small turbo, vnt cant control anymore overboost.
2) Stuck VNT, duty cycle is good to 95% but this is only software position, you must check if vnt is not stuck, try to longer VNT rod 1-2 threads(spires), from that 10mm nut.

Keep boost around 1.3 - 1.35 bar, go with 51 mg of fueling and +1 degree on SOI, you can add 10% lets say on pump voltage map to last column 51

Is 51 mg the max IQ that can be gotten from the standard injectors or is that just enough to keep the AFR right for that level of boost? I got the compressor map for the gt1749v turbo in the ASV as I have one myself. I worked out that for optimum compressor efficiency in these engines to use 1.4 bar. As said do a few logs, ideally duty cycle and MAP readings.

Looks pretty good to me :) You could bring the pump voltage up in the last column, I think the VE pump goes into limp mode at 4900 mV because it's too much for it. My max pump voltage is 4700 mV at high rpm and I have no issues. Your start of injection is very early, how do you find it? I've heard that tdi engines can handle timing this advanced but I don't know anyone who's tried it. Is there much difference in power and do you find the engine knocks at all on full throttle when accelerating? The boost is quite high but I'm running my turbo at the same pressure with no issues so far, once you've checked the car to make sure everything is ok and use high performance oil you should be ok  From here it looks like a decent map so just conduct logs and make sure everything is ok. Good job! :)
