Hi!
You can connect to ecu via BDM port? If yes, I think that your ecu is not are out! You need put virgin a file in to eeprom and an ori file in to flash ! You can checksumming it via BDM port perfectly. After you need programming immo with PPS or Lexia! You can't do connection with engine ecu if your immobiliser are bad(in some cases)!

You must access it through the pins on the table. For me, it worked in 407 edc16c34

Unfortunately i flah my ecu with wrong chksum. I remove the ecu and give it to a someone to flash with bdm with ori files. When i tested it yesterday, nothing no communication with the ecu. I think ecu is now out.
Now when i must remove dpf in edc16c34 i will use volta ( people says that it s better than ecusafe). In all case, before flashing, i will verify the chksum with winols.
Thank you very much for your help, these case is a good lesson for me. Thankd.

Hi all,

pinout that is marked everywhere has some problems. I connected the unit according to the pinout on the table. Identification of the unit properly, but read / write is not possible. Tested on Galletto V54 EU, MPPS v12 and also not work diagnostic. While in-vehicle reading / writing via OBD goes OK.
Any solution?

Hi, what soft do you use to do checksum after the ecusafe? I need to remove EGR on my Astra H 1,7 CDTI 100 hp 2006. I'll use galeto4 to read on BDM , then I think to use ecusafe to remove the EGR , but what to use for the checksum?

The ECU program the only BDM100 . Certainly you've lost coding injectors. You must have flash ori full of BDM and program BDM100 ECU and then unlock the ECU. Ecusafe and Volta does not have anything to do with .

I think he lost 2 things :
1st immo data from ecu.
2nd coding data.

If you try to reinject the original ecu file, it will just say wrong ecu or error seed key.
But in some cases you can cheat with it with galetto v54, since galetto skips some checks. (ecu missmatch for example)
I already downgraded edc16c34 to edc16c3 via AM29f400 and car started.

So the best solution for our friend right here. Boot mode through pins reinject original ecu file and code everything through PP2000.

Another method : edc16c34 via can program with your original with Galetto. MPPS bugs a lot on this ECU.

Respect the 3 minuts delay after programming. If you do not go through this your ecu will loose all coding data even the 95160 immo data.

Best Regards.
