hello everybody,

I have need your help for remove DPF in one 407 1.6 HDI EDC16 !!
I have remove with ECUSAFE 2.0 , after that I see in the BSI the presence of the DPF and ins't present,
the customer have call 2 days after the removing, because the car have a message "failure DPF"!!!!!!
in this type car how remove the DPF ? ins't possible with ecusafe ?

Hi, post original and defapped file,
than we can see what you changed...

I suggest you connect with pp2000,
Go to BSI -> available computers (something lime that - i have to check) -> Fap -> Disable it - if it is possible for that BSI, in most of them you have to do that as well after disabling fap in binary...

hi,

I have check in the BSI at moment to remove the DPF and he is inable at this moment ....
I will send the Bin tonight

I have see in the french forums to 1.6 hdi engine is diferent and the ecusafe don't work as 2l hdi
do you think is right ? :?

Ecusafe does not always work on EDC16 cars, sadly. The best thing is to do it manually.

I'm beginner and I'm don't have actually sufficient knowledge for change that manually,

I don't arrived to add my File it's strange the system refuse with message" the extention isn't allowed" why ?

do you have a topic for looking how tho change manually ? and how add my file in my message ? thanks for all

You are a beginner and you do DPF OFF on ED16 for customers???!!!
This is not a good combination. I advice you to spend some time learning, reading and then try DPF OFF on ED16.

yes your right

I remove a lot DFP for peugeot EDC15 and I never think the EDC16 change totally to working
It's a first edc16 and is a big surprise for me :(
the problem is not my car and I'm in a situation very delicate ....

could you please give my your support ?
how add my file ?
I select the file and add the coments (make,engine etc) and that don't work :roll:

Did the file that you posted above (407,mod.rar) you wrote it in your customers car? What tool do you use for flashing?

yes I have wrote it in the customers car, I have flashing it with galetto 1260
