Hi, I’ve created my first map and am trying to achieve a higher fuel quantity and more torque, but unfortunately, I’m not succeeding. I’ve adjusted the injection timings and the torque-to-fuel conversion maps, set the limiters with some headroom, and even raised the rail pressure; boost is over 3000 hPa, yet the maximum fuel quantity is only 78 mg at high RPM. I also experimented with the lambda map settings, but without significant changes. Do you have any ideas what I might have done wrong or what I might have missed? Basically, my goal is to increase the fuel quantity.

How much do you want to have in high rpm? And what is high rpm for you? Because 78mg for example at 4000rpm is quite good. Probably missed some limiter or need to adjust some maps. It will be good to know at least what car,engine and ECU you working on or even better to have stock and modified files to see whats going on.

The ECU is an EDC16c31, and the car is a BMW E46 330d (EU4); I can't find a complete map pack for this specific ECU anywhere online. I currently have over 60 maps identified—could something be holding me back? I noticed the engine's internal torque is just over 600 Nm; my goal is basically just to increase the fuel quantity in the low or high RPM ranges, since it currently peaks at just under 80 mg. I haven't touched the SOI maps yet, I would gladly listen to someone more experienced, 78 mg is at 3700 rpm, 216 injectors

As I said could be some limiter holding you back or you can try to increase TQ limit values a bit and check again. Could be gear limiters. Or you can try decalibrate NM to IQ maps just to see if anything changes. Re-check every map,maybe you missed something by mistake. If you can’t find mapapck for ir you can use damos or .ols file from E60 with EDC16C31 it has some similarities in maps so maybe that could help you. Duration maps in these are in mm3 and I don’t remeber if maximum axis is 90 or 100. You can also try to extrpolate that map.

And it would be good that you uploaded stock and modified files. It would be easier for someone to find a mistake if it’s in the maps.

Thanks for the replies. I’ll upload the file soon; I just need to revert it to its previous state—since I was testing other changes yesterday—and set it to the final configuration I had before. Where can I get that DAMOS file? Also, I have the MAF disabled, and I didn't make any changes to the fuel quantity maps or the boost map; meaning the map (MAF, boost) I only added some new fuel values ​​yesterday as a test. It didn't make a huge difference—though the car seemed to drive a bit better—but I also tweaked the driver's request map, so it might just be a placebo effect.

Search this forum(or some other places) and you’ll definitely find some useful things.
