Trying to understand EGR OFF Solution EDC17C64

Postby Jannik07 » Mon Jun 07, 2021 11:01 pm

Hello mates,

in the older EDC17 I was able to shut off the EGR by setting the Hysteresis Maps to zero. That works fine for me =)

But in cars like the Golf 7 GTD there are none of these Hysteresis maps or at least I cant find them.
I saw some solutions in Files floating through the internet but there is no real pattern for me. All I can find is a bunch of disabled DTC Codes.

So is there a strategy ? and how does the DPF react to that?

Thanks in advance.

I attached a File from Golf 7 GTD EDC17C64

Yes. But I want to understand how it was made.
When I compare to ori all I see is deactivated DTC but no Hysteresis map or something like that.

Any news on that?
Is it enough to set all maps "Desired EGR Rate" to zero? any Experiences?

Thanks =)
