Peugeot 206 1.6HDI DPF removal

Postby simasrx » Sat Jul 18, 2020 1:33 pm

Hello everyone,
I have some problems with my Peugeot 206 SW DPF. I have removed it mechanically, read ECU by using MPPS v13.02 and then tried deleting DPF by using ECUsafe and wrote modified file to ECU. At first, I thought that this procedure was successful, because when I started the car, no faults where present, but after a while, while driving, I got fault, which said that diesel additive tank was empty. Also, after some time it started regeneration. So, maybe someone who is more experienced than me could help with ECU file and delete DPF correctly?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. I have added original file and a photo of my ECU sticker.

DPF OFF in attachment.

Strongly recommended to not use MPPS with this ECU!

Use KESS or Galetto!

Please, could you explain why MPPS is not recommended?

So that later you don't ask the question: how to restore the ECU and where to get the orig. firmware full.

Thank you for the information

I don't understand why MPPS publishes that it is compatible with that ECU.

Thank you jurebv

I bought MPPS V16.
Do you think this Chinese version is also old for this car/engine (206 1.6HDi)?

Here is your file with DPF off and checksum corrected.

The better for this ECU is BDM but I've also done one or two with Kess and galleto by obd.
