Remap super noob needs help with BMW 118d

Postby janusone » Sat Nov 02, 2019 6:38 pm

Hi!

So, for starters, i'm going to mention that i recently god my first car, which is the e87 118d 122hp version, i'm pretty sure my ecu is edc16.
I would really appreciate if you guys could give me a few tips, on what to do to properly identify my ecu and eventually get it remapped by one of you guys.(cash in exchange of course)

I would also like to know if you guys had any other experience with this type of car...maybe tell me how much power i can get, and what other mods i can do to increase performance withouth necessarily pushing the limits so its life goes down.

I don't think my car comes with a DPF, but i heard you can turn EGR off... Does that increase performance...
Sorry if my post is kind of chaotic but i'm a complete noob when it comes to these things...
Your help would be greatly appreciated though.

Such car
with downpipe and egr delete and proper software, you'll reach 450-465 nm and 185-190 hp. At this point injectors are maxed, turbo still has some puff as it's the same as 120d

Anyone that would be super nice and help me with a file... ? I have a 118D with 122hp. SW is: 07802452

Family: EDC16+c35

tryed to fix it myself, but got some issues with the tuning program...

my dream would be to have stage 2 or as much as it can handel, hardcut and egr + dpf delete. Hardcut is not must, but tune, dpf and EGR would be.

. It's a 2006mod
