MB Vito/Viano 2.2l w639 2004 detune or original

Postby epdm » Sun Feb 10, 2019 10:54 pm

Hello,

Have an automatic 2004 MB viano with the bullet proof 2.2d 150hp engine.

Sometimes when towing a heavy load or when even just cold and driving uphill in D it will go into limp home mode from time to time. The lhm usually goes away once the ignition is turned off and on again but sometimes the fault code needs to be erased aswell. The fault code is always the TPS ( turbo pressure sensor). The sensor itself has been replaced but didn't help. Its tuned from 150hp to 180hp ( 400nm) via an unknown programme, so pretty aggressively I would think, works great though.

Now I need the cross Europe with a heavy trailer again so I need the OE file or better still someone to slighly detune the current file to slighly lower the max turbo pressure so it won't go into limp home mode.

Will upload the current file if and when someone can help me.

Br.
Niko

Its not sensor problem its overboost problem...too much difference between actual and specified boost

Yes, I am aware of this...therefore I am asking for the maximum boost to be lowered.

hw. 43.02
