Golf 4 1.9 TDI AHF Stage 2

Postby a1rwalk » Wed Jul 11, 2018 8:52 pm

Hello, I want to rate my stage 2 remap of a VW Golf 4 1.9 TDI AHF 110hp with a turbo from 131 PD and 0.240 nozzles.
I don't have the original file anymore but I'll upload a similar one.
I tried it and there is lots of smoke and I think that I could get more power from this setup.Could you please give me some advices?

As far as I can see it shouldn't smoke, your smoke maps are very conservative.

Is it black smoke? Also, it seems to me that your holding out too much boost up the higher RPM for the PD130 turbo.

From what I hear safe pressure @ 4000RPM is 1450mb, and if possible it should be standard pressure afterwards. I didn't look too much at anything else.

Yes, it is a black smoke, but the car is straight pipe so it could be from this.I will reduce the boost pressure in higher RPM.I want to know how to tune the pump voltage map properly.I increased the on highes mg's the voltage with around 0,2V.

Okay, so I did some changes on my car - turbo GTB1756VK, 0.240 nozzles, 3 bar map sensor, a camshaft from 1.9 SDI and 11mm pump element and a bigger front intercooler.I'm going to install them these days.Could you give me some suggestions about the turbo pressure that this turbo holds, also what mg/stroke can these nozzle handle and also what should be the SOI map and what pump voltage should be.
Thank you in advice.

I have a question about calculating the actual mg injected per stroke for the .240 nozzles.I read some topics and articles about the performance upgrades and now some things got clearer to me.I also put a 11mm pump element. What is the correct way to calculate the mg's per stroke, also the SOI and the pump voltage.I would really appreciate it if someone tell me, becouse I want to understand how thinks do.
Here is the original file.
Thanks in advice, Damyan.

I did some changes on the remap and now the car is running well without a lot of smoke. But I have a problem with the overboost.I want 1.5 bar boost at WOT and on the boost meter it shows me about 2 bars.I tried to manage the N75 duty cycle but and the vacuum valve on turbo but there are no changes.Could anyone help me, becouse I will blow the turbo Smile Later I will upload the remapped file.

maybe there geometry of turbocharger is clogged? I have the same setup and the same problem. I changed the geometry and all is ok.
