Hi, looking for a proper DPF-OFF on Honda probably EDC16C31/C34 (Civic VIII 2.2 i-CTDi, N22A2, 2009 DE, factory DPF).
Car was flashed “DPF-OFF” but ECU still runs DPF logic. After ~1 week I got DPF light, then “DPF!” limp. Tuner unplugged DP sensor(s); light is gone but no boost, like limp mode but without any indicator, so what I know is:
- Boost control relay stays OFF under load. Engine gets to 2100RPM.
- MAP Target ≈ 105 kPa (≈ BARO) and MAP Actual follows → ECU doesn’t request boost.
- DPF PIDs still active.
- Also cruise control and sidelights (parking lights) don’t work (might be unrelated).
I will also test EGR using honda diagnostic tool, but for sure I will need a proper ECU driver. Maybe I should also blank off the EGR valve...
I hope to get the original file tomorrow. Paid service is fine.
Is there anyone still making these modifications or have any advice?
