Help EDC16 axis value...

Postby Bart » Sat Dec 15, 2012 3:44 pm

Hello to all, I am studying a map Bosch EDC16+ with WinOls: the axles of the map of the turbo and the rail pressure I have seen that the values are 400-5000 the first and 0-3200 the second.
I think what comes to 5000 represents the engine speed, but the other which stops at 3200, what is it? Parameter that represents? :?:
Thanks for the help! :)

Rail pressure and Turbo in my EDC16 is ...mg vs rpm
But that seems a little low at 3200.
3200 could be 32mg or 32mm3 or 320nm.

So I would guess probably rpm vs NM IMO

What car ?
What power/torque ?
What engine size ?

Thanks Relic for the reply!
I am attaching the original map:

I do not understand what is 3200, because it is a small value... :?:

Not familiar with your ECU/map
So woudl be wrong for me to advise.

Depends if maps are falling/flat/climbing
If the maps are flat at high IQ (or torqu ein your case I guess) then it will use the last figures anyway.
If they are falling or climbing at high IQ you will porbably need to modify column axis to allow for more.
Take that with a pinch of salt until somone more knowledgeable turns up.

I think you will find most of your main maps will be..... rpm vs nm = value
