So a damos is diferent for every ecu or just for the se?

its usually in german and yes gives information on start and end address of specific maps. Axis definitions and Factors and Offsets but even then it might be complicated to modify the maps unless you can correctly modify the correction maps. mainly limitation maps.

These have been replaced over last 10 years or so with .a2l format files. They achieve the same thing but in a more standard format.

Hello ! About damos files , I didnt want to create a new topic. Are there Damos files for each ECU/car combination or is it just one Damos or A2l file for example ME7.5.1 ??

Maps are normally assosciated with a specific location in the bin file.
Different software versions of the same care can move those maps to different locations.
But some ecuss have ID bytes I think so they could be located this way I guess.

I have some damos files (A2L extentions) for some car / models. My friend was said to me, these file very good information for tuning and all ECU operations. Because showing to me all special points from ECU Flash section.
