no reply from ECU

Hi all, happy new year. I have a problem with 2.2DTH , when I try to read the ECU with MPPS I get a message "No reply from ECU".
Where is the problem?

Immo is unlocked when you read? Without unlocking ecu not answer for read recuest.

I think the car doesn't have immo, no flashing light, how do you know if there is an immobilizer?

Immo always part of ecu software according to international standards.
You mpps tested on other car?
What models of you car and ecu?

I tested the Peugeot 307 HDI 107 and Seat Ibiza 1.9tdi 131 and read ECU (works well)
I'll take a picture tomorrow because when pressed ECU ID the ECU data is empty (this is 22dth)

if ecu is PSG16 (injection pump with 2 plugs ) reading is not possible only write , check ecu type

I'll check tomorrow, but I think this pump is installed at new models after 2001. My engine is x22dth

Let me tell you MPPS read?! JUST DREAM IT!Had tryied everything no way!Maybe galletto 2 but not clone, a european version...Have bin there before and you come to the point when you see less money, no funny!! :x ;)

desolder flash and rewrite, try galletto 1260 boot mode mybe work

diagram - It is a wise talker who knows when he has nothing to say.

There is two way to read psg16 x-tool via obd or by psg16 breakout box but not all models or all on the bench via "BDM PORT SOLUTION" full eeprom and flash.
You can program using tools above or by tech2, you can edit the software by reading the 32MB tech2 card.
