MAF Delete P0101 Persistant Code

Postby eksbawks » Sun Dec 09, 2018 10:46 pm

Hi Lads,

I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel 3.0L w/ bosch ecu, and the ECU seems to be acting up.

I've completed the replacement of the MAF and tested all the pins and wires to rule them out.

Is it possible to remove the P0101 DTC code from my ECU file?

I've been playing with the hex editor and it is very complicated and I don't know where to look.

I would very much appreciate if someone could give me a hand.

Did you by any chance removed egr in file? In some cases it triggers this code

I am not the first owner, but I did not modify ECU. The car has had the ECU changed at some point, the date of manufacture was 2013. I am getting worried the ECU might be on the way out again.

Something in the car appears to be eating ECUs.

I bought a used ECU, and are trying to clean how to clone it now.
