K Tag Help

Hi, I have a mini with a fried ECU, I am trying to read on the bench with K-Tag. The software starts fine but when i click ok to go past the screen with the pictures showing how to connect the cables, I get an error External Exception EEFACE.

Can anyone help?

What Mini? R56, R53?

Common issue with china clone.

I have sorted it now thank you. I didn't have it connected properly. It's from an R56. I have attached a picture of the ECU, do I need to find one with the exact same part number?
