Hi,

I've got a Audi A4 2.0 TDI 16v with CVT gearbox 2005. The ECU is EDC16U31.
The EGR valve gear is stripped. I tried buying an aftermarket EGR but the car won't recognise it in VCDS.

Can anyone turn the EGR valve off the attached file. I've tried others for this engine on the forum but they both cause the dash light to come on and the engine won't run. I'm using MPPS 1.3.

Will I need to do anything else i.e disconnect the EGR afterwards?

next time better post in right direction... or use search function...
You can disconnect it fully, I also disable dtc.
