My Peugeot 406 2.2 HDI has the same ECU it seems.
Ive read this post with great interest as i feel I'm getting closer to my goal.
I would really like to understand the methodology to achieve this.
Ive got the ECU file open in ECM Titanium but am not sure even if this is the correct tool. Can anyone advise please. I too used ECU safe first of all, but the car still goes into limp mode a few times a day, so it clearly does not work properly.

Let me know if anyone fancies explaining a bit about this to me.

Thanks
CG

Volta removes FAP better than ecusafe on this ECU. Afterwards you have to checksum the file and remove FAP also from BSI with Lexia/PP2000

Your car can still produce anti polution faults with fap and egr correctly removed in your ecu.
It can be that the turbo pressure is not correct or their is a faulty injector they all can cause the antiploution fault.
I use Peugeot planet and Dexhia to diagnose the cars fault.

Ok do we need to furn off fap injection map off ( write zeroes) to corectly remove fap ? I think there are two switches to be turned off for the two temperature sensors in fap ? Am i wrong ? I think the right way is to turn off one switch in hardware switches map.But dont know how to locate it for different cars.

I think even when you disable the two values for FAP temperature sensors you are don because they will show alway 751celsius temp and never have any problems with FAP.The other way is to modify hardware switches.Everythink is there like FAP , climate control , ESP options. But i don't know what and how to modify there.

Hello, how do you remove the Audi A6 3.0 TDI DPF? only the ecu must be turned off or taking out alive before the DPF filter detectors, after this? thx
