I have a similar file from Alfa Romeo 166 2.4 JTDM, with a switch on the same spot - but with disconnected EGR I still get P0401. Does my file have more switches? Did I do something wrong? File Attached.

Alfa 1.9jtdm16v same issue - the switch doesn't work - ML p0401, so I have made egr hysteresis map modification.

If your solution allows the engine to work properly you should not worry. :)

Did you disconect EGR plug ?EGR internal diganostic does it make any errors ?
I think hysteresis maps just keep it closed. But if you disconect it there should be error ?
