EGR off help needed

Postby lapinoumalin » Thu Mar 11, 2021 7:22 pm

Hello,

I read the ori file of an A3 2.0 TDI 140 from 2011, engine CFFB

EGR can't open more than 28% due to mechanical wear and it's a harsh to change on this engine, thus I plan to make EGR OFF, before a full remap.

I read the file with galletto 4 with no issue (it's my first EDC17) in boot mode:
https://www.ecuedit.com/a3-2-0-tdi-140-edc17c46-t24228

My first attempt was to remove Tprot (V7.00.01), it doesn't work with the 2 scripts included in fgtech
I also tried to find the string, place 000 instead of 11068, and after finding the 6 maps of hysteresis I put 0 to the 4 ones.
I let the 2 other ones on as it's said that DPF regen is not possible if it's blocked.

The checksum is ok in winols, but it's impossible to flash the flash file, checksum is rejected by fgtech.
I made an attempt with volta (just to try) with EGR off, it does the same as what I did by hand, but the flash file can be loaded in boot mode. I suppose that I have a problem with my winols pluggins, I also tried RSA mode, no more success.

Unfortunately the DTC 403 (EGR) came back just when the engine is hot - I'm wondering if the DTC did not appear because a DPF regen mode started.

Anyway, is there someone that could make an EGR OFF + DTC off on my ori, please?

As I made about 10 miles after I read it, is it necessary to read it again to have the correct mileage into the file?

I join the flash file as I noticed that the full dump is not flashable with galetto (It killed EEPROM, fortunately I had backup)

Thanks

V
