I have removed the DPF and disable the control on my 159 1.9 JTD 16v and everything went successfully.

With single switch only? I have tested in 2.4 200cv and automatically switch on MIL... Not the same on a 1.9 8v, but after few days it had an error on DPF system. Perhaps, it's neccesary to reset any field about DPF on ECU adjustements.

do you just disconnect the dpf sensor after the dpf removal ?

Please see attached damos, I am sure it is for a fiat chrome (use intel hex file and A2L file).
For me the switch is at 1DE0F6.
Once you have opened in winols and impmorted A2L file search in the text for "dpf and lambda"

hope it helps
Is there anyone to confirm that using the switch at 1DE0F6 is the right solution? This doesn't correspond at all to the description how to find DPF switch, stated here: https://sites.google.com/site/vagecumap ... -edc16-ecu :( That is why I'm confused. Thanks in advance!

It's not that simple.
This only shows no lambda and DPF in MES

sorry to update old thread, but doesnt seem worth opening another.

Ive tried this fix on my croma, and so far so good. It does change the status in FES/MES, but im pretty sure that is not the sole reason for the flag. Ive removed the insides of the dpf and have fitted a resistor in place of the temp sensor, so not quite the same as a complete dpf off solution.

I will monitor it for a few days and see if it tries to do a regen.

The flag is not at that address in my bin file, but ut was within a few bytes. I dont believe the addresses in the a2l file are absolute.

Many thanks to those who contributed to this thread!!!   :D
