There are many programs to do edc15c2 eep from bootmode+OBD, some free and other paid. Some with C167 ecu support EDC15x or ME7x is ok because read/write code is the same.

Hi. Hope you are great.

I am back on with this. Have used tool to remove after-sales zones by virginising EEPROM.

Are you into HEX yourself? I had 68 after-sales zones in Lexia and I have 4 lines in eep bin which have 44 in hex in them>

I expected VIN number and mileage to be in eep file but it is not there. Perhaps this is why VIN will not autodetect in Lexia.

I will desolder eep again and do another read to see what data has changed. That might reveal some answers.

Would you know which offset to write VIN into eep by any chance?

Also, been using Kess also but boot pin is 2. I think 24 is for EDC15C2 3 plug ECU and not single connector 88 pin.

I used old MPPS 12 for playing with flash files so it is not as versatile as later versions I believe. I haven't looked for generic so will have a look to see if it is in v12.

Hope you're having a great weekend.

Hi again!

about services 68 in DEC are 44 HEX

Info in ecu depend on version, I don't remember if VIN was in eeprom, if it is 1 plug + BSI then VIN should be in BSI. About mileage usually it's in 1FA->1FD

MPPS 12 is perfect for flash by OBD/bootmode and some eeproms.
