Driver Wish Help.

Why would you have.....
2x Pedal% vs RPM = IQ (Actully looks like a sequence of 5 DW maps with 1/4/5 set at 100% and 2/3 active)
1x Pedal% vs RPM = NM

The NM tables is flatlined until peak torque (app. 2000rpm) and then starts to drop like the IQ based Driver Wish.
The NM table is also about rougly 10nm higher than the IQ tables.
At lower pedal% the NM appears less than the IQ versions request.

1. I would have expected NM and IQ driver wish tables to be identical using the NM>IQ for conversion ?
2. Is there any reason I shouldnt set this as the IQ versions +3nm ?

EDC16 uses only NM in DW maps. This is why the ECU has NM to IQ conversion maps.

i have tracked IQ vs rpm at 100% pedal using HDS at wide open throttle.
It follows the pedal% vs rpm = IQ tables... not the NM table.
{except at very low rpm where there isnt enough airflow and lambda limits the IQ instead}

eg
iq say 66.6mg peak (400nm).
nm says 418nm peak (69.66mg)
Value never exceeds 66.6mg
(theres plenty of air for 69.66)

Thats why I was asking ?? :?

If they are both used is whichever value is lowest take precedence ?

Which thinking about.. there is a main NM TL 25x1 that track the IQ driver wish @ 100% pedal...exactly

Why would you set this at the IQ driver wish and not the NM driver wish ?

Guess I will raise the main 25x1 NM TL and see if it still tracks the IQ driver wish or the NM driver wish.

The ORI file that you posted with sw number 1037372044 has only 1 DW map and a lot of maps that are IQ limiters.
Post the map addresses of the maps that you think that are DW maps.

rpm pedal% mg
1233 24 22.5
1493 23 20.0
1730 24 20.0
1972 37 28.5
2278 48 38.5

I checked a couple of sequences from previous logs.
It appears on part load mg is tracking NM DW as you said.

So are these other tables some kind of LOAD% tables or something.
Hence them being bound by the main TL and values scaled by %.
1. 45.33mg @ 800rpm can only get idle MAF of about 550mg. But lambda 0.93 needs 610mg = 1.11x atmospheric.
This ties with requested boost of 1.11+
2. 0 load at idle is set at 6mg like idle fueling.

My mistake. I wrote wrong SW because i was working on 2 files in the same time and i copied the sw number from the other file. Still the only DW map is at C1402 and its in NM.
D240A and D264E are IQ limiters in mg/stroke. X = pedal position Y = RPM.

I was thinking that too.
But the NM driver wish is higher than the IQ limiter at the same pedal % (and still delivering requested NM) so its not limiting the IQ by pedal%.
These are the values listed above...they are too high for the IQ limiter x pedal%...but fit the NM driver wish pedal %.

The only thing I can think of is these tables are 100% load and so bound by the main 25x1 NM TL.
The 85% = 85% of full load etc.
That would explain why all the values are percentage of max values.

The main TL obviously limits the NM driver wish at the same time so it can never exceed these values

Make any sense ?

2278 48 38.5 logged.

2250rpm 48% = app. 40mg NM DW
2250rpm 48% = app. 32.5mg IQ limiter
Clearly if this was a limiter than 48% pedal should never be above 32.5mg
