Thanks for your efforts, ill try it out tomorrow.
Im just learning and for the heck of me i went thru all 128 maps and couldnt find what an egr map would look like, hence why i gave up.
im guessing its 13 x 16 in size. Any way thx again.

Lambda1 or anyone,
quick question, after flashing the "egr off file " with mpps i now have a p1652 code which will not erase with vcds. is this a concern or normal after flashing? When Mpps finished flashing it said the code had been cleared but it wasnt when checked with vcds, the car runs fine, trans all good, any ideas what has happened?

P1652 is gearbox problem.
Is it DSG? Did you erase adaptions of gearbox?

Yep DSG,
not as far as i know i did not erase adaption.
yes p1652 can be wiring connectors, valve body loom and gearbox. strangely enough when the flashing thru mpps was happening the dash auto selector indicators were flashing at the same time.
I dont expect you to solve but strange that it occurred immediately after egr off flash.
The car is still running as it should , when i get a chance ill recheck in a few days time if i can erase the code.
or maybe reflash to original and see what happens.
