Best way to do popcorn limiter on EDC16

Postby walshy1 » Mon Feb 05, 2018 12:39 am

Hello everybody after many hours and efforts of trying to make a popcorn limiter for 1.9 JTDM 150 I'm still struggling my current map which I have set to 4700 it pops once then makes a quiet limit noise...can anybody help me make EDC16C39 popcorn that sounds good? I have even used data from a working file set at 4500 but my car revs too 5000 and I tried setting it at 4700 by undetstanding the other file i have that works but it didn't work..

Any help would be appreciated

Fix in file where you added your popcorn, because without original file its dificult tu find where you cut it and try this one file.

I heard the torque limiter method doesn't make real pop noise on edc16 where the diesel actually ignites

Oh, Milaaaan!
Did you forget that the EDC has a separate TQ limiter table for EACH of the gears separately?
