After i searched and email a lot of companys i figured out that there arent any available chips with military/automotiv standard for this ecu tuners are only selling chips till 80 degree celcius way to expensive :D...

and normaly inside a car near to the engine there are ambient temperatures about 100 degree...

Sorry i haven´t read exactly theses are TN chips T stands for extended Temp up to 125°. This is what i was looking for thanks a lot for your helpful reply :).

These chips have a size of 1024 Kb can i use this for replacing a 512kb flash?

Normally flash is read over accessing the corresponding address-range.
In my opinion it should work? Am i right?

So china send me the chips and these are clones  ... The Factory Information is just printed than lasered :( The good thing is i have checked one from a european seller but they arent supposed to used up to 125 degree ambient temp...

Btw. the ecu has ST M27C1001 EPROM so it could not be programmed /rewritten.

i had an AHF engine and the tuner put-in the following ICs "N27C010-120V10" according to the data-sheet they are usable until 80°C,
should i replace them with other once up to 125°C ?

I did read the paper again and their are not made for 125 degree celcius operating temp. They are also for only 85 degree. Anyways the chips from china where clones and are crap. I bought chips from a electric company in uk which support ambient temp up to 85°...
You wont get any 125 ° degree max operating temperatur chips...

So drive with the risk or change back to standard ones which are 125° automotive standard ones...

Why are you focusing on 125°? 85 is more then enough for old ECU's.
