Audi A4 2.0TDI (CGLC engine) need EGR for DPF regeneration?

Postby VilkkuS » Thu Oct 08, 2020 8:20 am

Do you guys know, does Audi A4 2.0TDI (CGLC engine) need EGR for DPF regeneration? Cause here is 2pcs of this same Audi A4 Allroad with same engine/software (car model 2013). Both of them have EGR fault.
So, could we just flash software with EGR disable? Or does that lead to DPF mailfunction in the future?
We could also block EGR to close position, if that would needed. Both cars EGR:s are stuck

bad egr solution (like removing ALL hysteresis maps) will cause DPF problems, with correct solution no dpf problems ever

So it is possible to disable EGR on this ecu & car, and DPF still will work and can regenerate?
