ALfa 159 2.0 Jtdm EDC16C39 EGR OFF impossible

I looked EVERYWHERE. looks like ERG off switch doesnt exist in this car version. Maybe because egr is not like in other models. DOnt know. In 1.9 jtdm engine egr switch address is known, but i just cant find it in this bin. Only egr map, but i want switch solution.

hysteresis maps 1C6984 , 1C6A50 , 1C6AB6 , 1C6B82

Here is Switch EGR off solution, disconnect plug after update, also Checksums are fixed

Thank you BOTH!!! I will test it as soon as i can. But tody i had accident with a car, it was very hard to start it all shaking and got Low oil pressure error. I think car sucked oir instead of oil and now i have real problems. Im afraid i have to change crankshaft bearings ASAP. Bought this car week ago and i dont know is oil seal changed or not, so now i guess it's not and car was sucking air instead of oil long time already and many parts was not lubricated :( Today will get car to the service. After that i will reply to this topic for othe rpeople who was looking for info as hard as i did about EGR off.

I checked your file with hex editor and i see it's identical to what i had when i used ADS EGR Remover application. So it's not real EGR off switch method. Too many bytes changed. As i understood from ecuedit for real egr switch method 1 byte change is enough.

Your answer also based on ADS EGR remover. So you both 100% are sure that software that is created by dead company is a holy grail and works?

Also it's funny to watch how Volta and ADS egr remover uses absolutely different ways to do the same job. In other words -shitty job.
Im not good with maps and ecu file edit, but if they just kill egr errors instead of making sure ecu doesn't even require egr and recalculates air, boost amount keeping in mind that egr is not used. But i guess those trojan based software just disable errors and makes absolutely nothing in terms of really disabling egr. Am I right or am I right?

Incorrect, I simply use WinOLS and switched off the EGR and removed the P codes then saved with fixed checksums
(one switch is not enough for correct solution)

Hmmm then i guess there is only one way to do that because your file was exactly like mine i made 2 days ago with ADS egr remover, exept checksum part.
You say one switch (i guess you meant one byte) is not enough - so ecuedit lied? He told everybody in one topic that 1 byte change egr switch solution is the best one. Im confused. Anyway my car oil seal leaking air looks like it done that a while.
The problem with egr switch method - how can anyone test it? If you can not monitor valve opening in application, and if P codes removed. Does ecu knows that return gas is not reaching intake? accounts for that? Never seen any explanation on any forum.
Logic dictates me that changing maps is proper way to do it. Telling ecu that, "no thanks we dont need egr services, just use fresh air, thanks." :D

For one switch method you need to remove the sensor plug, hence the need to remove P codes.
The best way is to zero the Hysteresis maps, but since you insisted on the one switch method you were given that...
