Winols question

Hello all, im trying to understand the winols patch options which appear when importing a file.
Should i apply all of these patches or do i leave them unchecked?
ECM doesnt so this, it just finds the correct software version and goes green in the checksum tab.
However I would prefer to use winols, so if somebody could answer my doubt?
