I am not sure that this is the right place to post my questions so i apologise to mods and admin if i made a mistake...
Mainly,my problem is that my english is not so good(i'm croatian),so it's hard for me to completely understand any guide that i found, what i actualy mean is that i can understand some frequent basic words but i don't have a clue what hexdump means for example,or checksum...there is a lot more words i don't understand but first i want to be sure if anyone would like to help me explain those terms...Cheers...

May be you can start here: http://www.ecuedit.com/dictionary

Hexdump could be the ECU file and the checksum is like a verification number of that file.
