Wideband Lambda sensor tester

Postby herkuly » Sun Apr 20, 2014 11:55 am

Hi!

Does anybody know how to test wideband 5 wire Bosch LSU 4.9 lambda/O2 sensor?
I have Fiat Multiecuscan program and when car warms up to the working temparature, I can measure lamda Voltage and Oxygen concentration. But very confused, because max Voltage is 2,3 Volt on IDLE and 0,4-08 Volt and high RPM. Oxygen concantration max 0,200%. I know that Wideband lambda max voltage is 5 volts for lean mixture, 2,35 Volt is border between lean and rich mixture, 0 Volt is rich mixture.
I don't know why Multiecuscan show max only 2,3 volts, sometime 2,6 Volts if output of Wideband is 5 Volt max. I tested this measurements with 2 used Bosch LSU 4.9 lambda and one brand new Bosch LSU 4.9 lambda and valuse are same, all lambda sensors are working....

Maby I should buy AFR gauge kit that can measure:
- New Sensor: O2 Sensor Health
- New Sensor: O2 Sensor Reaction Time
- New Sensor: Voltage

Thanx

Hi m8,
Have you mounted Bosch sensor on Downpipe?
What wiring diagram you used?
I am also interested in this.

well connect it in a test becnh, and get him with a torch, and get your multimeter so see the temperature.
