It's good to have a method. But the solution of 3 posts to make sure users are active is easy to be "hacked". Better than nothing though.

I mean the 3 post rule is quite often used in other important forums too. It helps to prevent face accounts and people who are looking for use rather than help others

People like me, who are new and will most probably write low quality posts(like me, and this one haha) will spam the forum with unnecessary questions and posts, which probably have been answered somewhere before.
