where do I start ?

I'm newbie to remapping and I've got a simple question for you guys. I know there are lot of maps in ECU but how many maps do you have to edit to make some changes and gain power for example ?

You can gain power with just one map. The question is: You want to do it right or just gain some random power?

there are allot of tuning info regarding edc16. be very carefull when changing something, mistakes can be costly. be sure to post any questions.
