What hardware to buy

Postby angelus » Tue May 27, 2014 5:27 pm

Here's my question:

I have licensed winols.

Currently I'm contemplating to buy hardware that goes with it.

Should i just buy the BDM100 and a master OBD (total 4500 euros for the CMDflash + 1300 for the EVC BDM) = 6800 euros

from EVC or go for the CMDFlash Master Full (OBD+BDM+BOOT) = 11.000 euros !!!

Your thoughts?

IMHO you should check what others have to offer - for example:
- Alientech
- Byteshooter
- Magicmotorsport

I have been looking at byteshooter, but their website is totally unclear, hard to compare against CMDFlash and it appears that none of their manuals are in English.

Can anybody using byteshooter share their experience?

yes i found them now.

Byteshooter Basic master: 2900euros
The upgrade to V4 Master = 1200
Total 4100 euros.

I don't think buteshooter allows for Boot mode out of the box so i'll compare it to CMDflash obd = 4500.

Hardly any cheaper, ok maybe a little as there is no annual subscription

You might consider K-tag as a bootmode/bdm/jtag then maybe MPPS/Byteshooter as obd tool, or kess v2 if you want to stick to alientech,

HI,

I would go with Byteshooter's solutions... Just best value/quality ratio in my opinion.
