Hello everyone, pardon my ignorance but Obviously I'm new here and need some posts, but tl:dr converted 2013 fiat abarth 500 to a 2013 pop 500. Now I'm trying to bypass the Immo so I can use the car. or atleast have it accept my key. I'm pretty decent at learning things but there Isnt a really good information source for what I'm trying to do. I've heard of various methods from virginizing or flashing. But it doesn't make terrible sense to me. and Id rather not brick my ecu. I take it Id have to dump my info from my ecu, but it isnt quite clear on how or what I need to read off of it. Do I communicate through OBD or just by finding a specific chip? And from there how do I help myself with this information.

I'm not looking for someone to spell it out for me; but If I could get some good articles, help, or even a point in the right direction. It would be greatly appreciated. I just don't know what I should be looking for.
