VW Golf 1.9TDI 105HP (BLS) 2007

Postby domangez » Sat Dec 21, 2013 2:45 am

Hello this is my first tune,

my goal is:
- 105 > 120HP, 187 > 195km/h
- torque increase 1500 - 4500rpm, with minimal stress on transmition
- no or minimal smoke and fuel consumption increase

Every suggestion how to make this tune better is more then welcome.
Have I missed any important map ?
Are the value modifications correct ?
What would you change in modified file ?

Excel file with calculations to compare files is attached, as well as original and modified file.

Thanks

The file is mostly edited with VAGEDCSuite 1.390,
and now I have made the checksum for the modified file ( with Winols 1.721 ).

How can I check the checksum once more ?
Is there any other software which checks & makes checksum ?
Can anybody check the checksum of this file, if it is ok ?

Thanks

I wrote the file into ECU with 2 changes:
- Torque Limiter values are a bit increased 3000-4250 ( +13 .. +15 % - compared to original )
- Boost Limiter max values are a bit reduced to 2300-2330 mbar.

Test drive: max speed has increased, boost also ...

Please rate my map,
any suggestions are welcome.

Hello,

You are driving really safe remap with the torque limiter

For my opinion you dont need to have 2,24mbar boost with 53mg/stroke of fuel
( if you are doing safe remap i woudnt go more then 2150mbar in the remap and you can still get 18:1 AFR )

And its all depending how long you want the stock turbocharger to live, 150hp is safe for the turbo and 160hp if you remove catalyst

Please rate my tune ( new version )

Thank you abc-tuning,
I will not go over 2.24 - 2.25 bar max boost ( 2.05 bar is original max boost ),
maybe I will go down with the boost later.

Here is the second version of a file,
( 120HP, +10km/h max speed, no smoke were my goals )
I think I will not go up with IQ and Boost values.
I have 5 speed gearbox, standard max speed is achieved at 4000rpm,
new max speed is now at 4150rpm or higher (winter, winter tyres, wet road).
that is the reason why are IQ and boost values so changed at 3500-4250rpm.
With 6 speed gearbox, I wouldn't go that high at high rev end :(

I have few questions:
- is there any info, at which AFR is diesel engine most efficient ?
- are these locations ok ( EGR: 001C57B8, N75: 001E651E, 001E6340 ) ?
- what are the locations for: idle map, EGR hysteresis ?

I am new here, and please rate my tune, and give some suggestions.
As I am beginner, I don't suggest using my file on your car.
