It`s about EDC15M based cars.
Can someone give an explanation or can give some documents, where to read for the following things:
1 How can we determine the amount of degrees for VP44 fuel quantity? mg per degree or how much degrees are needed, so to deliver the amount of fuel?
I know, that we don`t have duration table in the ECU file, but there must be some clue or calculation(even approx calculation)?
2. The SOD map(Start of delivery) - how to be sure, that it`s correctly made? I mean, what is the correlation with the Fuel quantity?
Example: If we have to inject 50mg fuel, then what must be the SOD angle for it? Ofcourse, the other axis is RPM. This must be correlated with the "duration" angle again, right?
3. SOI map(s) - what is the right factor for it? Some says 0.023437(which is the logical one), others 0.01....? Where is the truth?
What is the correlation between SOI and SOD maps?
Example: If we have SOI 25 degrees, then SOD must be.....? how much? Or the opposite: If we have SOD 25 degrees, then SOI must be .... how much? I see, that SOD is always the "bigger" angle, than the SOI in diagnostic.
All these question are, because i want to adjust the injection timing(SOI) right. Any calculations available for this?
