Volvo V50 Siemens SID803 Clone

Postby bananarama » Tue Mar 15, 2016 4:50 pm

Hi all,

I'm looking to start tuning my Volvo V50 2.0D with Siemens SID803 ecu - I want to buy a spare ECU and tune that so I can keep my original ECU stock so if any accidents happen whilst flashing, I'm not left without a car.

I think I can just do a full BDM dump and flash to spare ECU and the spare ECU will work?

Can I simply do a full BDM dump and not update mileage each time? What happens when the mileage on the car (and CEM/Dash?) goes up, but when swapping ECUs, obviously the mileage will get out of sync? Does this matter - or will there be problems if the mileage becomes out of sync?

Thanks.

Yes You Can copy 1 to 1 by BDM100. I think mileage is not important.
