To start perfectly...DPF removing with ECU mod

Postby pierre » Tue Jan 22, 2013 10:43 am

Hi,

I have just registered to your community. Thanks for the possibility! I am new in modifying ECU, that's why I ask your help how to start, learn, what to look for...
I have already checked many other so called online services, but I would like to do DPF removing on my own, trying on my friends car.
I have read some posts, but please help me to find right way. What to use for: saving the ECU, modifying the code, how to analyse, check checksum, and so on...
I'm really opened to learn!

Thanks a lot!

Pierre

I'm in the same situation like you. Still reading topics but no yet finding the proper/right way.

It wasn't helpful, I know that...but now you know that you are not alone. ;)

Let us hope that the more experienced colleagues will give us a hand....

Well, it seems that for removing things like dpf, a LOT fo programs are needed.
one program will remove succesuflly certain type, another will complete it and so on.
I did never find a very reliable program, even with three different programs I always have difficults :/
