Supercharged Jeep

Postby ddavi280 » Wed Oct 19, 2016 2:03 am

I am having issues with tuning my Jeep and hope to get some help from the experts on this site. I've had a supercharger on the Jeep for years now with an auto tranny but didn't care for the lack of shift control so I converted it to a 5 speed. Since the conversion I've had some serious drivability issues and cant determine the problem. I have a serious knock condition throughout the rpm range, and the Jeep seems to not want to switch to Open Loop. It drives decent in the Closed loop mode but when the throttle is pushed past 1/2 throttle it bogs down. I never had these issues before and I'm unsure where to go from here. The scan tool shows trims close to neutral and the strange thing is that when I give it throttle input and it bogs out my AFR seems to stay close to 14.7.....its not like an obvious over rich or over lean bog.. I am running a JS Safeguard knock system for safety and my R4 Software for my piggyback shows the ECM receiving rpm, and MAP input correctly. Fuel pressures good on my gauge. This Jeep made over 450 ft lbs of torque on the Dyno before but I'm just lost as to what went wrong. Any thoughts or troubleshooting ideas will be greatly appreciated
