Suitable HW/SW for citroen diagnostics and rewrite

Postby legepe » Tue Aug 04, 2015 12:43 pm

Hi guy's,
Just got myself a Berlingo 2012 model (accident damaged for repair) for myself to replace my old taxi. Before I started repair engine started fine, however, after several disconections of battery the engine will not crank anymore, and shows message breaking system faulty before going into economy mode. An auto elec looked at it for about an hour, then a friend connected lexia diagbox to it but both without success. the bsi & ecu will not communicate.
I am looking to buy suitable HW/SW to connect myselfe.
Anyone had experience with ABRITES Commander For Peugeot and Citroen and where i can buy this... Im in the UK
Is this any good, or can anyone recommend something more suitable ??
Thanks

lexia Diagbox v7.57 should work on 2012 Citroen models. Change another laptop running win xp. ABRITES commadner is a bit risk

Thanks for reply...
I've tried so far the lexia diagbox 7.57 and the abrites commander 5.1 but both show no communication with the ecu...
I have now taken off both the bsi and ecu, but i think simply reconnection of these units will not make any difference...
Can anyone tell me what steps I should take next...?
I was looking to get KESS V2 V2.13 to see if I can reboot the ECU...
Any further advice would be appreciated...

No welding was done on car
the only thing was the battery was disconected and reconnected a few times...

Have you checked all the fuses?
I Think there are a few fuses upsidedown in a box near the battery?(not 100% sure) check with a mirror
