Simens pcr 2.1

Postby Trondrye » Sat Mar 23, 2019 10:05 am

Hi

Any experience with immo off in simens pcr 2.1?

The car is a skoda octavia 2011 1.6tdi. The instrument cluster is replaced with a used one. And i am searching for a solution to make it work.

Is it possible to clone the instrument cluster? I have the old one, but it does not communicate. But can i just solder over the eprom from the old to the new? Or do i have to include the cpu as well?

Any ideas would be great

Hello

The easyest way for you is to swap immo data from the old cluster to the new one because in this way your car keys can stay the same. Immo off is not posible on the pcr2.1, only a emulator solution.

But if you dont have special tools/programmers your only shot is to swap the mcu and eep of the dashboard

Good Luck

I have tools to read an write the eeprom, bot not the mcu. So think i am going to try the swap solution.
But thanx for the information, it helped a lot.

Hi Guys,

see you spoke of neurosite for immo off solution.

To normally perform this on edc17 and med17 when i read with ktag I separate files.

Do I only attached eeprom file to neurosite for immo and then write back that file to ecu.

Regard's
