I have been creating a few maps for my friends Seat Leon 1.8T 180BHP just recently, it has little mods as of now but he plans to build the mods up over time so far he has a 3" Decat Down pipe to 2.5" stainless exhaust and a upgraded BOV. The first one i created seemed a little faster but had flat spots towards top end, i have recently discovered a file from this forum or another which has considerably bigger increases than my first. Question is would this file i have found be safe for his car with the mods he currently has? Its hard to predict but what BHP would it be likely to see?

Overall, remap is no good, some maps unnecessarily changed, the rest - percentage tuning (Italian style). I know, motronic isn`t a simple system to understand, it takes time, a lot of time. I recommend the site "nefmoto" - a mine of knowledge. And mandatory: funktionsrahmen - bedtime reading...or pay for professional mod.
