Hi everyone,
This is in relation to a Renault Scenic IV 1.9 Dci 2005 with Bosch EDC16C3 ECU.
I am about to write Remove of DPF/FAP MOD file by ECUsafe - into ECU using MPPS cable/software to read and write from and to the ECU and this will be my first ever project to attempt to edit any ECU.
I could be wrong but as fare as I do understand ECUsafe does not do Checksums.
I already know that if the MOD file Checksum is wrong and then file is written into the ECU, the car might not start at the best, but the when I try to write the MOD file to ECU I’m getting CHK error in MPPS.
Why am I worried, I should be correcting MOD file checksums before I attempt loading it onto a car.
When I load the ORI bin to Winols is saying that no CHK is found.
I whanted to upload the file but i don't know how.
Please help me whit this problem.
Thank you for any help or suggestion.
Alex
